4. Still time to pack...
Written: February 6 & 7, 2003
Thursday, February 6th
We had a company party at our house. It was the first day off that we all enjoyed in quite some time. I woke up to yet another snow fall and thought it may hinder people from coming over. We set the party for 3pm through 6pm with the understanding that people could stay longer if they wanted.
We had a lot of people show up and it turned out to be a nice time to get everyone together. Jim Hester and I went sledding down through the apple orchard, at night, and came walking back up the hill covered in snow. Emily ran down the hill behind us laughing.
Friday, February 7th
We all had to show up at the hanger at 7am. We had some final things to put out and were told of the tentative flight schedule. We divided the company into 2 teams. I was in team 2. One team was scheduled to leave on Saturday night (late) and my team wasn’t scheduled to leave until Tuesday (late).
The things I needed to pack were still lying on the floor of my living room (just as they had been for the past 4 days – except for during the party when I had them in the basement) and although I had good intentions to pack, they laid on the floor for yet another day. I spent the day working out household stuff with Stef.

Hello, I just found your blog via CBFTW's links. I'm glad I caught at the beginning so I don't have a huge back log to read ;) Looks great so far and keep it up :)

I bet that nightime sled ride through the orchard is a great memory for you.
GHOST: The sled ride through the orchard is a legend! I talk about that all the time as the last real things I did before leaving here...I do have some pictures from that night...will have to post them to my main website @ www.cimoli.com
I haven't tried to post a picture within a post but I bet I can. Hmm...
JEN: I will work on links as well...just got to get a total handle on this type of web page but I think I can get it.
Is there a "short cut" or add on that I can get to add the links? I will just work the html route...
