Theater 2 Productions

Theater 2 Productions was created during combat Operations in Iraq.  The history is nothing special but if you were
there then you will understand it better.  Theater 2 is a tight group of many Army pilots and crewchiefs who
spent their free time making these fine videos.  They continue their work to this day...

a look at what we did on a daily basis.  In order to put them on the website I had to compress them quite a bit.

Sky Diving with Mom 5:29- July 2005 My Mom and I each did a Tandem Sky Dive with Midwest Freefall in Michigan. I highly recommend doing this at least once!

Big City Life - 4:25  Jay comes through with a Falcon remix of the hit song, "Big City Life" by Matafix. WARRIORS -"SPREADING THE DISEASE"- 3:39 Theater2Productions lives on!  Ed leads the way with another great video.  This time he is "Spreading the Disease" to another unit!

EMILY'S 11TH BIRTHDAY - 5:07 This is a fun video of Emily's birthday that we celebrated at Schloss Thurn in Germany.

WARRIORS - NTC - 4:21 This video was created by Ed as a video diary of his unit at the National Training Center - NTC - in California just prior to deploying to Iraq.

NOODLES REVENGE - 9:29 This video was created for our Battalion Commander and his ceremonial mug.  His mug was held ransom for a two week period in order to gain leverage in an unfortunate situation.  If you are familiar with Phil's Revenge - you will enjoy this!

 

 RAPTOR FINAL COUNTDOWN - 11:56 This video was created for our Company's deactivation ceremony on 7 Oct 04 after more than 5 years of service.  This is a compilation video of past and present day operations.
*GORDO'S SHOW - 2:40 Is a great video that Chris and Kenny made for me as I was leaving Iraq.  Thanks guys!
*I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS - 2:56 This is the final Iraq induced video which shows how I suprised my kids upon return to them in Germany after 10 months in Iraq.
1 - RAPTORS IN UDAIRI - 3:57 The first production. Set in Camp Udairi, Kuwait, this video provides an introduction to the members of C/5-158 Avn Regt based out of Giebelstadt, Germany. The Raptors deployed on Feb. 9th, 2003 to what became OIF and formed the Army's first combat Personnel Recovery Task Force.


2 - TASK FORCE GABRIEL - 6:08 This video was a work in progress for nearly a year. The final product shows all elements of Task Force Gabriel: C/5-158; 2-6 Cav, 6-6 Cav, 1-227th ATK, E/51st LRS in a documentary style accounting of the history of the task force.
3 - IRAQI FREEDOM PART 1 - 11:02 This video was so long that it had to be broken into two parts. This is a chronicle of the events surrounding the beginning of OIF through the "end of major combat operations" in May. 4 - IRAQI FREEDOM PART 2 - 17:01 This video was so long that it had to be broken into two parts. This is a chronicle of the events surrounding the beginning of OIF through the "end of major combat operations" in May.
5 - BOMBS OVER BAGHDAD - 5:18 The footage is taken from Iraq and Kuwait with much of it coming from the former Saddam International Airport in Baghdad as well as Saddam's former palaces and regime buildings.

6 - OUR HOUSE - 3:38 This video highlights the Raptors home at Balad Airbase in Iraq. The Raptors arrived there on April 20th, 2003 and departed in January 2004. While there, they built a great home.
7 -RE-DERRANGED - 3:44 This video is a bit twisted. From images of a pole dancer to a soldier getting an IV to the now famous Raptor syrup drinking contest - this video has it all. 8 - PSYCHO - 4:24 A serious video showing a lot of great flying and lots of destruction. This video has a heart pumping sound that drives the footage.
9 - FAITHFULLY - 4:43 Created by veteran Movie Maker designer Ed Simmons, this video is set in a sepia tone and shows the heartache and suffering endured by family members during this deployment. 10 - UNDER THE GUN - 6:23 This is a day in the life of the aircrews of C/5-158. It flashes back and forth from color (present time) to sepia (day dreams) throughout to create a feel of what they endure.
